Sheva is a dinner where Jews and Non-Jews will come together in solidarity. This evening highlights the enduring spirit of those who have faced the darkest chapters in modern Jewish history, combating Anti-semitism both in America and around the globe. The Torah describes Jews as a light in the darkness, and on 10/7, we gather to embody this light, bringing love and strength when it is needed most. Ten Sheva will be a celebration of love in the city of Brotherly Love. A place where Jews can come together on an emotionally charged day and honor Jewish life and culture and stand up to Anti-Semitism.
Sheva is set to take place on October 7, 2024, with the vision of becoming an annual tradition. Each year, we will direct our fundraising efforts to the areas of greatest need within the Jewish community.
For our inaugural event, we have chosen to focus on supporting the next generation. Jews aged 18-25 are facing a war on multiple fronts—from college campuses in Philadelphia to the battlefields of Israel—and they are on the frontlines.
Our aim is to equip these groups with the essential support they need. With your help, we will contribute to the Israeli Defense Force Emergency Fund, enabling them to provide assistance to soldiers, ranging from physical resources to mental health services. In Philadelphia, we will strengthen local Hillel groups by enhancing educational services, empowering students with knowledge to stand against anti-Semitism.
To make this event possible, Sheva has partnered with The Relief Foundation, Inc. as our Fiscal Sponsor.
Yes, all donations made to Sheva are tax-deductible.
